We track the FHFA data associated with Alabama MSA’s here at ACRE. Would you consider performing a similar analysis for Alabama MSA’s that you have for California and Florida?
I understand that your time is valuable and certainly do not mind discussing compensating you for your efforts.
Thank you. I certainly wouldn’t mind taking a look at any data set
you can point me to.
I’m overcommitted as it is, so instead of financial compensation,
I would seek the ability to publish any derived data and results.
Unless you have access to more current data than December 2008,or data with a finer granularity than MSA, I anticipate uninteresting
results as Alabama has shown itself to be relatively inelastic
in response to the recession.
For example, annual heat index changes range from -3% to +6% with
heat index values ranging from 1.02 to 1.17, indicating that local
factors continue to dominate Alabama home prices.
